How do you know when your idea is from God?   This is something that was heavily contemplated when the idea for Mont Dei first came to me.

Who am I, and Why Me?
I’ve been a Christian all my life, at least in name.   I considered myself a Christian and was raised in a Christian home, but it wasn’t until my 37th year on this earth that I felt my relationship with God really blossomed.  I’d like to tell you that I received some divine sign, my version of the burning bush that made crystal clear God’s will and his plan on how to best utilize me.  It wasn’t that way.

What began as a continual thought, I found myself daydreaming and continuing to think about a way to honor God.   Going through my daily news feed and seeing the continued attacks on atleast what I would consider to be.

Tools at my disposal:

Doors opening – moving to Idaho

Praying about a problem and opening the bible

Christ the redeemer monument

Support from others?  One of the most important tests.

Offering and meditation:

If we don’t act until we are absolutely sure, we will wait forever. No matter how often He confirms it, it never really seems to be sufficient. We just end up coming back begging for another confirmation.
